Now that the holidays are upon us, it is likely you'll be introducing your significant other to your family in the near future. If they were raised a completely different way than you because of their cultural upbringing, this can be an intimidating time.

On today's podcast, Brenda and I start talking about how I am getting a late start on Christmas decorating and our thoughts on dieting. Then we offer advice on how to ease your SO into your family. As Latinas, our families are big, loud and super affectionate. In our past experiences, we noticed that those who were not raised like us might feel uncomfortable especially if they don't speak Spanish.

Brenda and I offer advice on what to do with your significant other before spending the holidays with your family. We also talk about our own dating experiences. Dating is the ability for you to get to know people from different walks of life so you can narrow down what works best for you. Sometimes you learn what you love about your culture can make or break a potential relationship.
